My loop signal can be heard with a Sangean 909 with internal loop stick out
past 15 miles and that is hilly wooded land. If a guy uses an active antenna
or receive loop, it goes over 162 miles in CW easily.

On a good day I can copy my 100mW MedFER at a little more than 8 miles.
What sort of range do you guys see on your 1W LowFERs this way? You
know, just copying the signal by ear -- normal speed, no computers?
Thanks,
Eric
