Well seriously what I am after is a map to prove if there is a powerline in
the ground running by 20 acres that we want to buy in Morrison county
Minnesota. It is a Loopers paradise as long as there is power so we can
build a house on it. My last ditch effort will be to contact the county and
ask or take my natural radio receiver up to have a sniff in the ditches. I
just wanted to find out tonight if possible so I could go to bed dreaming of
my future LF loop farm. The two brokers we are dealing with are inconclusive
as to where the power grid is at around the property or if there is one at
all. The nice part about the property is that there isn't a house in miles
and my new house will be designed to be low noise. I want a nice peaceful
chunk of land like Lyle has so I can hear the bugs on my receiver and no
dimmers or TV's. Unfortunately for Lyle is that my station will be closer to
him. Hi Hi...

Oooh. Let's hope "Total Information Awareness" isn't up and running. Based
on what the FCC thinks could happen if Americans had access to the power
industry PLC database, a request for a *map* could have men in black
knocking on your door in the middle of the night.
