HiFER UWL:
I can't wait any longer.
...
I'm going to put the beacon together in a temp fashion until the
enclosure
arrives. Again, hope to be up by the end of the weekend. I'm going to

try to squeeze into the 13555 group.
----------------------------------------------------

Fine. Even then, in 10 days, it may not have arrived. So bypass the
main dish and on to the desert.
That's a good location with other active and seen sigs.
---------------------------------------

The Code:
Ok boys -- you're not going to believe this: I may be the only person
in
the history of history to learn Morse solely by logging NDBs!Eric,
KD5UWL
Eric, KD5UWL
---------------------------------------

Silly sounding at first but if it works, fine. One advantage I see is
the repetition of chars, albeit just a few per NDB. Still, by that means
you'll be deficient on numerals and punctuation. So, in time, do spend
some time on 80 cw, there you'll also be exposed to the context and
style of "amateur" cw.

I will not be able to listen for a while. Now all my ants. are down as
I reconfigure my "outback" towers. I ran into a flaw. The legs (seems
one of them) of a top section of Rohn 25 are not aligning and I'm unsure
how to adjust it up high, they are stiff and well braced. I'll likely
spend the weekend with that problem.
