Did the original articles address the performance of these antennas from a
intermodulation resilience standpoint and actually put numbers on this
performance? (This is the Engineer in me creeping through, again <G>) Seems
like there are a zillion active antenna designs out there, including a few
of my own, and most of them work great - with the exception of resilience to
strong out-of-band signals - including high noise levels. It would seem that
with the use of a couple of signal generators and a scope it would be easy
for us perform a test that would predict the intermod performance for these
antennas we build/design to fit our varying needs.
