Thanks for your reply...it really made me want to get on the air.  Later 
that day, my parts arrived -- everything but the enclosure.  Since I want 
to cut the board to fit the enclosure (it's watertight) BEFORE I start 
soldering parts, I'm in a holding pattern ...

I'll try to finish the antenna this weekend, and then when my enclosure 
gets here I should be just a few hours from being operational.
