I noticed today that Mike is using the identifier "WEOH" (with the letter
"O" instead of a zero). Roger in Duluth caught it also, as indicated by his
posting to the LWCA message board.
LEK will be in and out of listening mode for the next few days, but will be
on the air continuously for at least 10 days starting Thursday night. The
new frequency is 182.201 kHz, just above BRO, and I'll be transmitting a
multimode format (QRSS30, DFCW60, and MT-Hell).
By the way, RM, WE and BRO were all solid copy today (on the Argo screen)
with an indoor receiving antenna consisting of about 150 turns of #22 double
cotton covered wire on a 0.5 inch diameter, 7.5 inch long ferrite rod. I
think the material is type 61. The receiver was an IC-706 with my
"universal" preamp.
