Any requests for other tests? Elevating the loop to 600ft? Burying and
operating under the snow? Encircling the house with a 3/4" pipe (using
existing plumbing for the lower section <G>)? Bob: I still have that
'tilt'
idea in mind. BTW, using the big loop as a reference signal appears to
work
really well.

well they claim that a 20 Deg tilt on a vhf beam will provide
a pattern that will only be down 3 Db for both Vertical/horizontal
radiation,, that is opposed to over 20 + if held in one plane or the
other .
I would think that the tilt would be critical as to big a tilt
would result in melted snow\\
actually I vote for that
