Don't I know it - the $8 K1EL ID chip just cost me $21 by the time
I had it in my hot little hand !

Doesn't everyone open the crystal case and rub solder to lower the
frequency, and use an eraser to increase the frequency.  I have added a
threaded metal pate, and a 4-40 screw with spring so I can apply pressure
and QSY up and down the band now.  Is there an easier way ?
