Dang so soon huh??? Yes definitely bring the looping tools along. I hope it
is as warm then as it is now. The forecast is for 30-40 all week. We can
just put the #8 loop in the E/W direction. I will build up another tuner box
for the project. I also have another Epson exciter parts kit sitting here so
I could run two beacons that would be on slightly different freqs. Both my
Epson's are programmed for 185.302kc but they are tweak-able and most likely
wouldn't be exactly on the same freq anyhow.
How are you going to get past the A/P security with a weapon in the bag???
That might keep you tied up at the A/P for a while when they see what you
have in the luggage.

Sometimes you get those deep and narrow crotches that snag the small stuff
but the bigger wire slides right over. Pulling up #8 for example is best
done by forming a loop by taping the end back on itself for a distance of
about 8". The blunt nose of this loop seems to slide by just about any
obstruction. Also, there are certain ways to jerk on the leader so the limb
bounces enough to relieve tension on the trapped wire.
BTW, I'll be coming back to a town near you in early January. Shall I pack
the compound bow so we can put up an E/W loop? Of course all children,
neighborhood pets, stray cats, and birds will have to be quarantined for the
event. <G>
