[Lowfer] TAG Wolfed in NC

After many hours of trying to Wolf TAG with no success I begin to suspect I 
had a sound card problem.  This sound card had previously worked great with 
Wolf while running Windows 98.  XP was installed on the machine back in the 
spring which ended frequent lockups.  The sound card also worked good with XP 
with one exception I noticed while running Argo.  With Windows 98 I could 
drive the Argo input level bar into the red but with XP the bar seemed to 
saturate and never hit red no matter how hot the input signal.  Recording 
Wolf with Cool Edit gave similar results.  I could set recording input level 
just above -6 but that was the limit.  I told my youngest Son about the 
problem on which he quickly replied that I needed to update the sound card 
drivers for XP.  He then poked a few keys and voila! Argo would hit red and 
Cool Edit could be driven to zero.  I recorded and processed TAG's signal 
withe the following results:

About an hour before this recording was made John put on a steady carrier 
while I looked for it with Argo.  Nothing was seen.  So unless propagation 
changed dramatically Wolf will get through when QRSS60 will not. Amazing!
