VD has been off for a day or two but will fire it up before I go to work =
this morning. Lost my current monitor cable connection during the ice =
storm on Sunday night and haven't had a chance to fix it yet.

  Thanks to all that responded to my query. I installed a pot between =
the R-75=20
  and the computer and this helps reduce the signal to a more manageable =

  level.

  Guess what the 'real' problem turned out to be? It wasn't Jay's signal =
that=20
  I was receiving! The signal appeared at the correct frequency 185.301, =
when=20
  I put in a .53 Hz offset in the calibration section - the same as the =
other=20
  computer. Turns out this computer requires a 13 Hz offset.

  I'll verify that Jay's signal looks OK on the laptop tomorrow, =
hopefully, if=20
  he receives my request.

  PS: John, per your suggestion, I when out and found a new wife but her =

  laptop computer turned out to be and old 386 model that doesn't even =
work=20
  with ARGO. Now what shall I do?
