I've been looking at 1704k to 1705k tonight on the R-75 using QRSS10 and 
it's virtually void of any signals.

Also looked for a simple way to generatate a 1705k signal. Citizen makes a 
10.24 mHz xtal in the cylindrical and HC49US packages (see Digi-Key 
catalog). Should be able to pull these down to 1705k in a typical oscillator 
circuit, with the appropriote series inductuctor, and a divide by 6 counter. 
I'll order some of these xtals.
