Yes, I just found the ARRL Antenna Book 17th addition article on TX loops. 
This is the article that has the questionable description of the ground 
screen that is supposed to have the effect of doubling the loop area. The 
later additions leave out this fearure in the TX loop section. One of the 
featured loops is a 1800kHz design that is 9.5ft in diameter and uses a 3/4" 
diam copper pipe. The tuning capacity, BTW, is 784pf. This loop has an 
efficiency of 7db bolow a full size 1/4WL sided loop. Using 2" pipe would 
bring the efficiency within 4 db ...... Probably close to matching a 1/4 WL 
ground plane with 143ft height!
