When John mentioned the effect of power lines on a semi-weak am bcb signal 
as you drive along, by portions of wavelengths, as part of his explanation 
of vector summation, I started figuring the wavelengths of some of my 
favorite bcb stations.

I've enjoyed listening to "am radio" since I was a child.

But as I was looking at that tonight I thought about what a HUGE hunk of 
spectrum that band is.

Seems as if _we_ could make better use of some of it...if it were ours.
