Ha ha -- well, almost :)

Again, I'm not using this loading coil anymore, but here are links to 
pictures I took during construction.  The second link has a picture of the 
variometer in question sitting on top of the coil.

I was considering using this variometer as the loading coil for my new 
antenna once I get it up, but at about 1mH I'm afraid it is too small 
after all.
