Right on. I must have 100+ hours of signal mapping under my belt but haven't
done much of that in the last two years. One sunday I drove west of here to
see how far WA could be heard over the better soil in that direction. Turned
out to be 125 air miles, but in many areas on the way I had to search for a
noise-free location. When I got home the odometer indicated I had driven
over 350 miles!

Not bad. The Koch method seems to be working. I searched the VE test sites
in this area on the web and it turns out that within 20 miles of here there
is an exam given on the average of one per 7.8 days.
