Hey, guys:

I've been reading this thread with interest. You'd think that Lyle was
resigning from the human race and going to live on a mountaintop somewhere!
All he has said is that LEK is off, and that he will direct his antenna
efforts toward something for 136 kHz. I'd assume that his web site will
still be there, and that it will have new goodies as he does stuff on 1750
and 2200 meters. He hasn't said that he is abandoning the Lowfer community!

Relax, gang. It's a hobby. Beacons (some of them VERY good) have been coming
and going for years. I suspect that a lot of innovation will come out of the
136 kHz band (assuming it materializes).
