I don't subscribe to QST, because, of course, I'm an 'outsider' <G>, but I 
get the gist of how the 5v adjustment when loaded will effect the 12v 
output. I still think the 12v and 5v outputs can be combined even though 17 
volts sounds like a strange value.

Now that's a bit low tech, don't you think?

That would be loop idea #28 from my best seller, right? This is the loop 
that runs from eve to eve 6 ft above the roof, down the both sides of the 
house, through the basement windows, and meeting the final in the lower 
radio shack room. All air!  Har Har
