[Lowfer] Computer supply

Bob:
Just completed 30 minute make-over - and using a
computer supply for the 100 watt 137.780 kHz rig.
Drawing 6 A ( which isn't that much.
However the voltage is 11.7 volts, and unfortunately on
this supply there is no pot to adjust the voltage.
I have a few more under the bench so will be trying variations
over the weekend.

Found the article in May 2002 QST - step-by-step and
worked well.

Thanks for the idea - sure better than the unregulated clunker
