Hi - I can't keep anything from you Lewis - but what I find so hard to
understand is just how solid the signal is down there - night and in
particular, the day. I did indeed get things going just minutes before 1030
your time... probably 1020 CDT.
Seems to be fine - power down a bit - because I found out the problem was in
the power supply - not the transmitter. Blew the pass transistor, and then
the fuse. I understand that the transistor is supposed to protect the fuze
<gr> at least that is what usually happens.
I am using a badly unregulated supply for the time being - no load 15 volts,
full load (6 Amps) drops to 12.5 volts.
Thanks for the report again - it looks like the loop is radiating off the
side ? ?
