Mike's unequivocal need is likely based on the recent issue of "The
LOWDOWN" and *80s reprint*, "A look back at Steve McDonald's splendid
receiving loop antenna." In it McDonald describes construction of 8-foot
shielded loop that also incorporates a then made pre-amp. The amp was
made and sold by Frank (?) Burhans (deceased), a foremost member of
LowFER-dom in the '80s. This amp was designed for low freq response and
didn't require tuning in the usual sense and used simple audio x-fmrs as
in- and output objects.

McDonald was pleased with this unit, having mounted it out-of-doors w/
rotor control. He states its advantage over a former indoor box loop.

Upon further reading of last nights list, I note that Mitch has pcbs
for such a amp. and DC de-coupler. Nice.
