Check the 60kc and 100kc freqs and see if you can hear 100kc Loran loud and
60kc time signal really loud. They both slam in here arm chair copy with
even a 6 inch cliplead in the antenna connector no preamp. This works on a
TS440 and my HP 3586C.

I'll go back to QRSS and CW ID now.

Yeah... just a low hiss, is all I hear... I disconnected the dipole and ran
a long wire to the center conducted, turned on the pre-amp, and heard
nothing but hiss. Hm, I'll have to download Argo and see if I can pick up a
signal that way.
