No transmit at the moment - the back yard is covered a mass of 20 foot
branches that snapped like twigs. Measured the largest at 15 inch diameter -
which just missed the corner of the house.
I won't be transmitting until I get out with a saw tomorrow and do some
clean up work.
However, I will be listening 185.3 region.
I have an old 1937 National HRO receiver that I use for AM broadcast DX, and
can hear WABC for most of the day and certainly all night. It has two rf
stages and I use the AMRAD active antenna - great setup and the great
harmonic distortion that really mellows the audio...
