To brag a little about my almost non-existent copying ability, when I
took my Extra Class code test way back when (1975) the text started out
and then, exactly one minute into it, they sent QRX and I automatically
paused and could never get the copy started again. When the examiner
looked at my sheet he said something like "You passed OK, but you sure
must be cocky because you stopped after exactly one minute." I didn't
tell him what happened or that I had been far from cocky...... What I
did do was work out with some 30, 35, 40 and 45 wpm practice tapes, of
which I could only get a few letters at a time. I suspect but can't
prove that working out with stuff you can barely copy might work better
than you think.
Try it, you'll like it and have a feeling of accomplishment.
