Doug,
I certainly will listen for "AH" on 1694.75, though I
don't hold out much hope until you make the switch
to QRSS.
The Medfer band was quite popular until the expanded
band stations began to sign on a few years ago. But I'm
of the opinion that QRSS techniques may make it
possible for us to achieve long distance receptions
again on this band.
At the moment, 1690khz has only two broadcast
stations, and both have very poor signal levels compared
to others on the expanded band. I'd love to see
more Medfers try this frequency range during the
coming season.
Hope to have my own beacon on sometime soon too.
