Wish that were the case. Then we could say SOME of this makes just a little 
bit of bit of sense!  I'm even low in loop current due to  near-saturated 
soil. BTW: Are you archiving your capture messages? If some kind of a record 
can be kept it may be possible to review these at some later date and make 
some sense of it. It would appear that a "surface wave"  explanation for the 
strong mid-day captures taking place in the 400mi range is not valid. Well 
at least the dialog for this strangeness has never been stronger. I think we 
have 'one up' on or European friends in this regard and need to come up with 
some kind of Rule explaining this propagation before the playing field gets 
real whacky (I hear of even further delay in 136k approval).
