You can build a RX loop out of that cable, as some have, but it would lik=
ely have a poor AC to balance to ground. This balance is needed for good =
E-field rejection and good nulls off to the side, hence a good S/N. Most =
of the successful loops are constructed from equally spaced #14 to #20 wi=
re. Some of these are center-tapped but the balance can be also achieved =
by using the same type of series-tuned floating design, and ferrite step-=
up transformer, as our TX loops use. John A. does this in his excellent r=
eceiving setup which is so good that he can still receive WA (40mi) when =
I use fleas to power the Xmitter.  ..........well perhaps that could be a=
