Thanks for the report.

Roger on TBY - short for Waterbury. That NDB is used for approaches into
Waterbury/Oxford airport.

Ok on poor conditions. Guess we got our hopes up with conditions last week and
weekend. When I get a chance I'm going to go through the solar data for that
period and see what was up. Either signals were enhanced or the noise was down
or a combination of both.

Set up one of the selective level voltmeters with a ~10" tuned ferrite
loopstick for WWVB earlier tonight. Good enough signal level to read on the
SLM. I'll keep an eye on signal strength. A chart recorder would come in handy
for that. May put up a dedicated WWVB antenna outside.

How directive do you think the K9AY is and how do you steer it?
