Hi Bill:

Keeping tips about 3-4 feet away from supporting branches.

Yes - I know am am just about there - however, I wanted to try the vertical
for directivity reasons. Your comments in an email about changing antennas
for N-S and then E-W , along with the rapid approach of old man Winter - and
going outside for such activities really slowed me down. I will keep it for
a few weeks and after further adjustments on the antenna, I will probably
bring it down and convert it into a loop.
Re: RSGB - yes - following and copying with great interest - and want to see
how Rik makes out with his experiments - particularly related to the high
currents and related components.

I had tremendous de-sensing with the transmitter affecting 185.3 ( and in
fact the whole NDB band ) I ended up receiving all kinds of intermod
products included with the desensing ! The one radial is above and within
10 feet of the receiving loop. So I essentially shut down receiving
activities for past several test days.
I follow your "tree" antenna with interest.
