Mitch,
>Beacon M P transmitting QRSS 3 and QRSS 60 tests conducted
>over last three days - resulting in reception at WB3ANQ of both modes,
>but QRSS3 not positive except for frequency confirmation - QRSS 60
>showed definite signal characteristics ( read - drifting
>frequency on long dashes ) and enabled more positive ID.
>Ordering QRSS30 chip for future tests.
What's going on here? I didn't know......
What's the approx distance from the tips of the tophat radials to the trees?
>Now shut down for further antenna work - maybe cutting limbs (?).
Better not touch those limbs! You understand of course that "Conventional
Wisdom" points to a loop antenna? (Been following the rsgb LF reflector
lately?)
Let us know when you will be transmitting again on either antenna. This tree
probe doesn't mind that you are at 137.... and there is definitely no
conflict with my transmitting on 185.3.
Bill
