Tree lovers,

>I just noticed that when I turn on the computer, however, there's a lot =
of added noise. Therefore, the next move, tonight, >will be to add a sepa=
rate woods-ground to the transformer (probe side) instead of tying it to =
the coax shield going back to >the receiver. Letcha know.

The added woods ground did the trick. No more computer noise. All I did w=
as add a 30ft wire to the return on the primary of the transformer that j=
ust lays on the ground. Probably has about 100pf of capacity coupling. Wi=
ll try a ground rod later. The antenna appears to be working well because=
I just copied TH at 189.3 on CW, 275 mi. First time this early in the se=
ason.

Just started running a 30S ARGO at 185.3 but nothing much going on. Not e=
xpecting to copy NC because my main indicator from that direction, DIW, i=
s not too strong tonight. Sorry Dex.

Will return WA to the air waves by 3:00am
