Perhaps it is my radio but I have a problem when doing this. The "tone"
shifts frequency significantly requiring re-calibration (probably a fault of
the radio) and the bandpass shift does not compensate for the change, thus
frequently masking/attenuating a desired frequency when I forget to manually
change the bandpass to compensate.
That's why I use the "Argo Calibration" method I posted about earlier.
