RadioShack.com no longer carries many of the parts they used to stock.
Although there is still a commercial division of Radio Shack, they don't
seem to publish a catalog either in printed form or on-line.
I recently wanted to replenish my stock of J310 FETs (which I used to get
from RadioShack.com) and some other transistors. While searching for
suppliers I ran across Pioneer Standard Electronics at www.mypioneer.com .
Their price for J310s is under 14 cents each; PN2222A and 2N7000 transistors
are less than 4 cents each, in quantities of one. I ordered a bunch of
transistors and the shipping charges were between 11 and 12 bucks. Not too
bad, considering that almost *anybody* wants at least 6 or 7 bucks for
shipping these days. By the way, Pioneer has both the microprocessor and the
amplifier chip for the ZL1BPU exciter in stock.
