I installed RG-8 coax last night as my N/S loop conductor (courtesy of John
A.) and found the performance fairly good. Was glad to see the Rac was
somewhat lower than for #8 copper, but will be making more accurate
measurements tonight. The trees seem to support the additional weight, which
I forgot to measure before installation (xxx!!). This cable could represent
the best performance/cost ratio of any loop conductor, if purchased as
surplus cable. This stuff is very old and may not work well at 200MHz, but
the shield inside turned out to be nice and clean!

BTW: WA has been on and off, and sending at different frequencies, for about
5 days, but currently is QRSS30 at 185.300 (on the coax).
