That approach works well assuming that the spacing between the stations is
appropriate for the modes in use. For example, WA has been running on
185.300 (or as close as he ever gets <g>), VD on 185.301 and TAG on 185.302.
If I decide to run Jason, WOLF, or whatever, I have to move away from that
group. Even WA's QRSS3 last weekend was <almost> encroaching on VD's
frequency. As long as we're just playing with antennas and evaluating
propagation, the tight clustering is fine. But those who experiment with
wider modes have to be prepared to clear out of the way.
