Hi Mitch,
Glad to see we can continue to connect throughout the summer - as long as
your storm noise is low. Was wondering if there have been many summer nights
when the noise is low and my signal is not there?
Was hoping that Mike's signal would show up. He does very well on a surface
wave path at 115mi, even close to the side null. I'm estimating his loop
direction relative to you lops off ~4db.
Is the signal appearing slightly less than 1 Hz above WA (on two of the
frames) that pesky "intruder" or is that JR? If it's the intruder this could
indicate propagation at 630 mi (Mike's distance) is not nearly as good as
530mi (at least last night).
Glad to see the noise forecast is low for the next few days.
Fellow loopers: This is your cue! Dam the storm coulds; load up that screen!
Thanks again Mitch.
