Les,
It sounds like you have a great working system. What Tuned Active Whip are
you using? Is it Homebrew or from the store?

Subject: [Lowfer] Antenna Repair! Turn em on Boys!
Thanks to Lyle's timely assist with a repair problem to my
tuned active whip, I'm finally able to receive LF signals
again. Only now, I can hear them better than ever!
JDH is pounding in here, with the strongest signals I've ever
seen, including those received on the 10 foot loop!
NDB's are also noted stronger than ever, including groundwave
reception of beacons as far away as Memphis!
Whatever Lyle did to improve this thing, it sure worked.
I'll be frantically trying to hand out Alabama to as many
beacons as possible. Expect XM to be off the air
a lot the next few days as I play with my new toy.
Any chance of NC switching back to QRSS60 mode but
staying at the same frequency? I'll also be looking for
LIP, RLD, WA, LEK, BRO, etc.
Wow!!!!!
