Hi Conard,

I notice nobody has actually answered your question so far.  I suspect
that's because we have no record of a beacon signing JLD at this time.
Here's how to find out who's where on the band:

If you visit www.lwca.org, click the LowFER/MedFER icon, and select the
LowFER List (which Les maintains for us, and the same page is available from
a similar link in his "Noise Floor" site) you'll find that 184.512 is used
by JDH (John Hoopes, right in the middle of Georgia).  He had been using
3-second dots, but may be using longer ones from time to time for added
range.

I couldn't say whether he is accidentally miskeying or whether there is some
other explanation.  It'd probably be good to write him.  On the LWCA pages
only, you can also access the Operator Contact list which gives e-mail
addresses of all operators who contact us by that means.
