Any leads on a source of Teflon wire at a nice cost? Looking for
22-24AWG tin / silver.
Nebraska Sales has it and in 100-500 feet unit costs it's $0.12 [22],
.17 [20] for tin wire, and $0.17 [22], .23 [20] for silver wire, all
above is cost per foot.
When considering a LF loading coil using 220 feet of wire, will the AC
res. reduction of silver warrant the added cost and be significant?
I'm thinking about short, tightly wound LF loading coil, tuns pitch of
1,
L to D of .25 : 1.0.
