[Lowfer] K9AY/KAZ Loop

This is a resend because the reflector never sent it out...

I am currently running a K9AY with the NW/SE leg as a KAZ. I originally
erected a standard K9AY with each loop made from 90 feet of wire. The apex
is at 20 feet. Our house lot is 250' X 65'. I added 50' more to the NW/SE
leg and noticed an immediate increase in the signals (and noise) received
on that leg. The trouble is, when you get to this point in the size of the
K9AY/KAZ, the back yard is pretty well used up. I have no room to "KAZ"
the SW/NE loop and with all that wire back there, it's gonna have to come
down when the WX turns. The K9AY has performed over my expectations but I
think I'll have to give it up and go with a smaller loop, maybe of the
W1TAG class, which I believe would give the same performance in a smaller
footprint. I'll lose the ease of the electrical direction control but a
cheap TV rotor on a loop will be easy.
Before I give up however, I may be able to incorporate a couple of trees on
the property to install 2 K9AY/KAZ loops in 2 directions but separated from
the common mast support.
Comments?

Thanks,
