I have a rig for 187.510 although I dont have it on the air
as It is illegal. well kinda. I just fed the 160 meter L ,,non tuned
and WA3USG could copy it as well as Steve in Mt. Gretna
and Bill Farmer was the Best DX at Rockvill Md about 70 miles
with an untuned ant what,, perhaps 1 uW erp HAR
Just had it on fer an overnite operation not as a permanent thing
need to legal it to have it on all time
so while it was non standard and not Legal , it did radiate
kinda makes you appreciate the need to shield Navy shipboard
radios to keep the LO from escaping
I can hear it for several miles mobile but just barely
it is fun to see how fast it falls off once ur out of the
near field
I dont intend to have it on again unless I get a loop up
and if so will notify you for a proper posting
