[Lowfer] Frustration...

This is one of those notes that nobody likes to read on a list. Lately, I
have become rather frustrated while trying to operate TMO. The frustration
comes from several sources: Lack of funds to do the job properly, lack of
time, trying to please everyone.

TMO is a klunker. In fact, that is the DNS name of the computer it runs on.
It is a PC Electronics LW-MAX and its lack of stability and desire to wander
are legendary. And there appears to be little more I can do about it.

I have tried to be the best neighbor I can in the 185.3 area. In several
notes I outlined my dilemma and solicited requests for a frequency for TMO.
I got ONE response with two suggested frequencies. Otherwise, it seems that
I've been in somebody's way everywhere I go.

The up shot is that this is a hobby (how many times have we heard that) and
I want to be a good guy. I want a beacon that people can try to hear but not
get in anyone's way. Notes on the list and sent privately indicate I have
not been successful at that. I am very indebted to Bill for his time,
advice, patience and materials that have helped me get beaconing but until
my new business turns a profit, and I can afford to go electronics shopping,
I'm stuck with the setup I have. So the only option I seem to have that
would keep everyone happy is to shift off of .300.

Not sure where I will end up but the antenna should be a little more
efficient at the higher end. I'm thinking about going up by TH as we might
be a mutual draw.

As always, suggestions and comments are welcome.
