Mike, I don't think I suggested this frequency. I OKed your suggestion for
.3005 IF you could hold a .5Hz spacing between Jay and I. At that time (must
have been about a week ago) I said that the 185.298 area would be another
option but indicated it was close to the edge of not being seen in a group
photo. Why would I want you so close to WA other than this is the only
available 'looper frequency' within the trimmer range on the LW-max?

John, I think you are in a unique location that really makes it impossible
to get a good copy of Mike with Jay and I so close to you, spaced a Hz
apart, and sandwiching Mike. Both of us would have to shut down to allow you
to copy Mike. I'm about to do some receiving in the next hour if you happen
to be still up. Not sure if Jay is on at the moment. Let me know any time in
the future that you want to check out TMO and I will gladly shut down for an
hour or so. But in general, I want to be able to send at 185.300 without the
feeling that I'm causing problems.

I'm sorry for this snarl that I've helped create but it ain't ALL bad. As
senders in this 185.3 grouping we all enjoy the benefit of getting the
maximum exposure by a limited number of receiving sites across the US and
Canada that can look at only one ARGO frequency band at a time.

Bill
