Measuring the antenna current or Rac at the present location will allow you 
(and I) to know what the effect is in making the move. This loop current 
would be about 10 times more reliable as a figure of merit than 100 signal 
reports. My 80ft perimeter loop doesn't seem to mind much what the soil 
conditions are, wet or dry, but its not on top of mud like yours is. I think 
you have enough coax conductors in the loop to reach a very low Rac without 
adding more.
