Jason is a fun mode. I have written a Jason beacon program that runs on =
a
PIC16F628. It controls an AD9850 DDS but can of course be modified for
other chips such as the AD9832 and perhaps also ZL?BPU's AVR software
DDS. Beacon message and frequency is stored in EEPROM and can be
programmed from a simple ASCII terminal through the PIC's UART.

Lacking a DDS, it may even be possible to pull a crystal oscillator over =
17
precise 252 milli-Hz steps with a varicap and a bunch of trim =
potentiometers :-)

You may wish to include Jason in your "All mode beacon controller"?
Anyway, I'll send you the code in a separate message.
