[LOGic] K3 Support

I realize fully that Logic is a logging program first but as Dennis says
it should support the rig control buttons that do exist on Logic and
with the K3 the VFO B button does not work or swap button. Why is this
serious? It really also means you can not work split as you have not
idea where VFO B is at. Where I really came face to face with this is
getting ready to operate my K3 remotely at W0SD from AZ as it means I
can not work any DX that is split frequency as I have no idea what the
VFO B frequency is or change it. Also it prevents making use of what
you can do with a VFO A and VFO B which has a lot of uses in day to day
operation.
By fully support I meant support the K3 with the buttons that are in
Logic. That is what I am asking for. In Logic 8 saying that if the
Kenwood 850 driver works with the K3 fine but if not tough does not give
me a warm fuzzy feeling! However saying Logic 9 will have a K3-specific
driver if necessary to support the Logic buttons is what we need. The
bottom line is to get all the buttons on LOGIC working with the K3 is
what I am asking for and I believe the others are asking for. Saying
that is will is good news!
Just as a side note I am amazed at all the features that are in
software(not just talking about Logic) that hardly anybody uses, ie I
call them bells and whistles but yet a fundamental feature like VFO A
and VFO B is not implemented; especially for the K3 which is probably
the best spec'd radio, certainly in the top two of radio's used by hams.
It just seems weird to me.
Anyway this is very good news that the Logic buttons "WILL" be supported
in Logic 9 and puts Logic 9 back on the list for me!

Any auto-lookup in QRZ.com now crashes the Callbook applet and requires killing LOGic 8 through Task Manager, cleaning, relaunching, etc. I?m assuming this problem is due to QRZ.com?s upgrade, but if no one else is having a problem with this, then perhaps I need some help with my setup. Please let me know.

I do NOT want to have to wait for LOGic 9 (which I?m not even sure I?m going to buy at this point, given continuing lack of K3 support -- incomprehensible) to fix access to QRZ.com, which is indispensible for a DXer trying to keep up with dozens of DXpeditions on a daily basis.

Does anyone have knowledge of any fixes for this, or at least a timeline for a LOGic 8 fix? Please don?t tell me it will be fixed in LOGic 9...
