[LOGic] Running Logic 8 on a Mac

After some thought, I made the jump to a Mac (my first) a couple of weeks ago. I also purchased vm Fusion3 which allows me to create a small virtual Windows XP "window" on the Mac and run Logic 8. I reinstalled Logic 8 from the CD and restored my log from a backup that I had saved on a flash stick.

All works well until I tried to upload recent QSOs to eQSL and LOTW. I have had no success in doing that. I encounter errors such as  "OLE error code 0x80040112" or "Class is not licensed for use"   and lastly "..... cursor LOG is read only"

The only thing I have thought to do so far is turn off the Windows XP firewall but that had no impact on these issues.

Hoping that someone here may have "gone down  this path" before and perhaps offer some suggestions.

Also hoping that ultimately I do not have to leave Logic in favor of MacLoggerDX or some other Mac  compatible program.
