[LOGic] QSL DATE

I've been doing some experimenting with the qsl date so I can see how 
long its been since I sent a card and if it may be time to resend a card.

I have noticed that the qsl sent date field will get filled in if I 
print a qsl label for the qso but it will not fill in the qsl sent date 
if I manually fill out the card and manually fill in qsl received with 
an R and the qsl sent with an F.

Am I doing something wrong or is that the way it is?   I normally fill 
out a qsl card immediately after the qso v.s. waiting a few days and 
printing labels.
