Hi Ray..
I have had hardly any problem with upgrades since version 4.
I don't know if it's the proper approach, but I always do a Norton Ghost
backup of my C partition, I copy my old LOGic subdirectory to a
different partition, do a couple of log data backups, and then
un-install the old version. I then install the new version, and import
the log file and any lists that I need from the old version. Maybe I've
been lucky, but I've not had problems. If I get any funny error
messages, a LOGic CLEAN usually solves it. It'd be nice if, as you say,
we had the capability to automatically migrate our updated fields ,
forms, and lists. Maybe Dennis will get 'round to it ... but I want my
"Print QSL lable for current QSO" button first.. {:o)
