[LOGic] Including Award Progress Results on QSL cards - Best Way Sought

Hello Again LOGic Users,

 

Once again Bill W5WVO and I (Bill K1UQ) have been thinking of neat stuff to
automatically include on QSL cards.  Bill likes to print his grid totals
(worked / confirmed) on his card and I might like to print DXCC totals, etc.

 

All of this data is calculated and printed whenever one selects an Awards
Report.  If you have ever taken a deep look at what goes on in a report like
this, you will quickly appreciate the skill of its creator.

 

Has any user already figured the best way to get at a calculated Awards
Progress result total to enter only desired portions of the results
dynamically on QSL cards as cards are printed?

 

Not desired - run the Awards report, manually transfer results.

 

Less desired - run the Awards Progress as an individual report, cache the
results, then extract the desired data from the cached results for inclusion
in a QSL card report field. If you forgot to run Awards Progress Report
prior to printing cards, your cached data might not be accurate.

 

Most desired - When you run your QSL card report, the Awards Progress Report
is run, and desired resultant data is automatically transferred into QSL
report.

 

Anyone doing this?
